    Agent Notifications

Your work with the Buzzeasy Agent web application involves reacting to events like accepting tasks the system offered to you. These changes in the agent application interface are trivial and self explanatory as long as you actively work with this browser tab or window. In case the event happens in parts of the agent application you don't explicitly have opened (e.g. you work with an ad-hoc outbound call while a chat task arrives), the application lets you know of this in the form of temporary popup notification panels.

Things become less trivial when you work in applications other than your web browser, or when the browser tab or window is not in the foreground and so you don't necessarily see these in-app notifications.

    Enable system notifications

To maintain your awareness of things happening in the Buzzeasy Agent web application even if your entire browser is out of sight, make sure you enable your browser to relay notifications originating from our web application to the central notification system of the operating system of your computer.

Allow system notifications in Chromium browsers

    1. Open your Profile menu in the top right of the agent web application interface's header bar, then select Settings.

    2. Click the Request notification permissions button under the General tab of the Settings panel.

    3. By default, Chromium browsers block the notification permission, therefore this request likely got rejected. Look for the corresponding permission denial icon in the right side of the browser's navigation bar, or by clicking the lock icon at the left side of it to see if the notification permission is granted or not.

    4. If the notification permission is not granted, you can go to the Browser settings > Website permissions and check the settings for the agent.buzzeasy.com site. Make sure the Notification permission is either Allow (permanent) or at least Ask (temporary, asking for each session).

    5. As soon as the permission is granted, all events in the Buzzeasy Agent application are relayed to the central notifications system of your computer.

Also, the Request notification permissions button disappears from the Buzzeasy Agent application's Settings panel.

    6. Test your system notification by clicking the Test system notifications button in the Settings panel of the Buzzeasy Agent application. This triggers a test notification message in the operating system notification system.

    Handling system notifications

The fastest way of handling a system notification is to click it, wherever your system presents it on your screen(s). This immediately brings your Buzzeasy Agent browser tab in front.

    Notifications

Some notifications have optional action shortcuts presented in the in-app notifications, these however are missing from the system notices. Most notifications are also temporary, they are removed in-app after a certain period of time.

Some of the most frequent notifications:

    • You state was changed by your supervisor.

    • RONA reminder. This is a periodic notification, showing up every few minutes until you move out of the RONA state.

    • New chat/email/campaign task added.

    • Incoming email/chat/voice task (when RONA is enabled for chat/email).

    • New chat/email message arrived.

    • Connection lost.

    • Connection restored.
