Queue treatments
Buzzeasy offers queue treatment services for the WebChat media too:
Navigate to the Chat > Queue Treatments section in Buzzeasy portal.
Click Create then provide a Name for the queue treatment, specify whether to enable or disable queue timeout, and set the timeout value in seconds.
Click Next to proceed.
You can start adding steps to your queue treatment. The available steps include:
Send Message: You can enter free text messages here. Optionally, use the
{position}
parameter to display the customer's position in the queue.Wait: Set a duration in seconds for the wait step.
Once you've configured your queue treatment to your satisfaction, click Create. You can now use this Queue Treatment in your Workflow.
The Queue Treatments menu provides estimated timelines based on your configured steps. These estimations indicate when messages will be sent to customers after they enter the queue.
Drag and drop queue treatment steps to reorder them. Set repeats on specific steps by checking the "repeat treatment" box and selecting the desired step to start the repetition from. If you reorder your steps, ensure that the repeated step position aligns with your intended queue treatment.
For an optimal customer experience, we recommend adding Wait
steps with longer durations to prevent overwhelming customers with frequent messages.

Note that queue treatments are available for chat media where the providers allow the pausing of text streams while the conversation is in our queues. For now it is WebChat only.
