Buzzeasy Release Notes
Welcome to the Buzzeasy release notes!
The Buzzeasy development teams work in sprints of 2 weeks. While we are generally sticking to this cadence, releases can however happen in between sprints as well, so we can ship new features and bugfixes fast.
Buzzeasy has 3 types of releases:
Silent Release
This release is not published upfront as it does not have any major user interface and behavior changes, and does not pose any risk for the system availability. These can happen at any time, typically for high priority bugfixes.
Standard Release
This release contains changes to the user interfaces or system behavior that may affect users, but does not pose any risk for the system availability. Preliminary notification is sent on case-by-case situation depending on the type and level of changes involved. These never happen at peak hours.
Major Release
This release contains significant changes, many new features and bugfixes. This might occasionally require minor subsystem downtimes. In-mail notification is sent with extra information of any potential unwanted behavior. The risk usually comes from network fluctuations and disconnects while we deploy a huge amount of changes. We perform these releases in the least busy periods, typically weekends.
